FPU Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Company leadership and FPU employees joined members of the Central Palm Beach County’s Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony for FPU’s newest business location in West Palm Beach, FL.

Chesapeake Board Member Paul L. Maddock, Jr. was a guest of honor. State Attorney Dave Aronberg; Palm Beach County District Commissioner Gregg Weiss; and Victoria Nowlan, Executive Director at Palm Beach County Legislative Delegation, were welcomed attendees at the event as well. Following a chamber leadership committee meeting, hosted by Lyn Cacella, Manager, Growth and Retention, visitors were given tours of the new facility, guided by Doug Moreland, Manager, Gas Operations; and Bonnie Erdek, Real Estate and Contracts Manager.

This facility, built in the 1960s for the CIA, was completely rehabilitated to accommodate FPU’s operations personnel, who moved in July 2018. They were later joined, in February 2019, by various administrative departments, previously housed at the EcoPlex location in West Palm Beach, FL. The 23,000-square foot building has thus been named the South Florida Operations and Administration, and includes a 3,000-square foot warehouse.
