Framing Frenzy

Employee volunteers joined Chesapeake Utilities for the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity’s Framing Frenzy event, held at our Energy Lane complex in Dover, DE. Chesapeake is a long-standing supporter of Habitat for Humanity and welcomed the opportunity to build the beginnings of a home for a local family in Dover. The build out of the frames for the Habitat for Humanity home took place at the future site of our Safety Town, a new safety facility for our Company’s use, which will provide safety training and awareness for local energy providers, first responders and our communities.

Students from Polytech High School joined our employee volunteers for the Framing Frenzy. For a class project, these students were assigned the task to map out the design of a mock-up Safety Town based on our future facility.

Thank you to our employee volunteers from Chesapeake Utilities, ESNG, BIS, Customer Care and Corporate!
