In June, we celebrated National Safety Month as the Safety Steering Committee continued to lead us on our journey to safety. This initiative recognized our employees’ genuine focus on safety, promoting our safety culture and reinforcing our Safety Standards of Performance, launched in March.

National Safety Month is an annual program of the National Safety Council, the nation’s leading non-profit safety advocate. The main purpose of National Safety Month is to educate and guide the behaviors and procedures that will ultimately lead to preventing injuries or saving lives in the workplace, at home and in the community.

Throughout June, our Safety Steering Committee shared health and safety-related best practices, relevant resources, and other helpful information from the National Safety Council specific to mental health, driving, ergonomics, and developing a safety culture. This valuable information is very respective to our Company, especially as we continue to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic and transition to our new normal.
