Stem Goes Red
Chesapeake was a primary sponsor for the American Heart Association’s inaugural STEM Goes Red event in Dover, DE. Young women from Delaware high schools were introduced to career opportunities by employee representatives and other professionals who encouraged these students to explore careers involving science, technology, engineering and math.
Following the STEM Goes Red event, the American Heart Association hosted its annual Southern Delaware Go Red For Women Luncheon at Dover Downs Hotel & Conference Center. In our fifth year sponsoring the event, many female colleagues also participated on the planning committee contributing to the success of the annual luncheon.
